Obsidian Archetype is a chapter within the Archetypes series — a body of work exploring timeless human forms through textile, absence, and light. As a counterpart to Linen Archetype, it embodies the inward, shadowed archetype. A real 12V LED halo is physically installed onto the canvas, transforming the portrait into a luminous object rather than a printed illusion.

There is no folklore narrative.
No religious symbolism.
Only material, geometry, and light.

The halo does not sanctify — it frames.
It defines volume, shadow, and spatial rhythm.
